Data sourcing
Source of price information
Price and product information displayed in this application is collected from the publicly viewable websites and storefronts of the respective retailers, using automated data-collection tools, for the purpose of price comparison and consumer information. This application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of the retailers whose prices are displayed, and all trademarks, logos, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
How we collect data
Automated collection of publicly displayed retail pricing for comparison purposes is common practice among deal-aggregation and price-comparison services. We do not collect data from behind a login, and we do not access customer accounts or personal information on any retailer's systems. That said, individual retailers' own terms of use may restrict or prohibit automated access to their websites, and we cannot guarantee that our collection methods are expressly authorised by every retailer whose prices are shown. Retailers may also change their websites or introduce measures to limit automated access at any time, which may affect this application's ability to display accurate or complete information without notice.
Accuracy and verification
Verification at point of sale
Users are hereby advised and strongly encouraged to verify all price information displayed within this application by physically inspecting the price tags, labels, or electronic displays at the actual point of sale within the retail establishment prior to completing any purchase transaction. The prices shown in this application are provided for informational and reference purposes only, and should not be considered as a definitive or binding representation of the actual price that will be charged at the time of checkout.
Application not a source of truth
This application is not intended to serve as, and should not be construed as, the authoritative source of truth regarding product pricing. The application functions as an informational tool that aggregates and displays price data obtained from various retail sources, but it does not guarantee, warrant, or represent that the prices displayed are accurate, current, or will match the prices charged at the time of purchase. Users acknowledge and agree that the application is provided on an “as is” basis without any warranties or guarantees regarding price accuracy.
Store-specific pricing
Prices displayed within this application correspond to the specific retail stores and merchants from which the information is sourced. Not all retail establishments maintain identical pricing structures for the same or similar products. Price variations may exist between different stores, locations, regions, or retail chains due to factors including but not limited to regional pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, inventory management practices, competitive positioning, and store-specific pricing policies. The price displayed for a product in this application may differ from the price charged at a different retail location, even for the same product.
Price accuracy and timeliness
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of price information displayed within this application, prices are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the retail establishments. The application cannot guarantee that the prices displayed are current, accurate, or will remain unchanged between the time of viewing and the time of purchase. Promotional periods, seasonal adjustments, inventory changes, and store-specific pricing decisions may result in discrepancies between displayed prices and actual checkout prices.
Liability
Limitation of liability
By using this application, users acknowledge and agree that neither the application developers, operators, nor any associated parties shall be held liable for any discrepancies, inaccuracies, or differences between the prices displayed within this application and the actual prices charged at retail establishments. Users assume full responsibility for verifying prices at the point of sale and for any decisions made based on the information provided within this application.
Technical and advertising
Firebase Anonymous Authentication and data collection
This application uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, a service provided by Google, to enable user authentication without requiring personal information. When you use this application, you are automatically signed in anonymously through Firebase. This anonymous authentication does not require or collect any personal information, such as your email address, name, or other identifying details. All authentication is handled securely through Firebase's authentication services, and we do not have access to any personal information through this authentication method.
Advertising
This application displays advertisements to support its operation and provide free access to users. Advertisements are served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners, which may use device identifiers and general usage data to select and personalise the ads you see, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not ourselves target or customise advertisements using your personal information, and we do not sell your data to advertisers. Oztally Pro
Subscription
Oztally Pro is an optional subscription that removes advertising and unlocks additional features described in the app, such as unlimited favourites and shopping-list items, instant price history, and configurable price-drop alerts. It is sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase, in the store's currency, and is subject to the store's own terms.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel the subscription through your App Store or Google Play account, not through the app, and cancelling stops future renewals without refunding the current period. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies. Restore Purchases re-links an existing subscription to the device you are using.
Gift codes and changes
Gift codes grant Pro for the period stated with the code, are single-use, and have no cash value. The features included in Pro may change over time as the app develops; where a change materially reduces what Pro includes, we will say so in an app update before it takes effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use as the app changes. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do, and material changes will be reflected in an updated app release.
